Weight loss improves most things, except dinner. 🤔

I love this site. It's really helping me. I was diagnosed with prediabetes' and the meal plans they send me are tasty, and healthy and surprisingly not boring.

@Serenitree I’m going to check this out when I get home. I’m always looking for new diabetic-friendly recipes. 😃

Yes. I was diagnosed type 2 June of last year. I lost 30 pounds, and my a1c is 5.7. So definitely worth it.

@ncg475 Well done. I lowered mine from 11.5 when I was diagnosed to 6.2 by dropping a few pounds and I’m working on the downward trajectory. 👍🏽

@bijouxbroussard Excellent! That's the way to do it. You're on the right track. I should have said - lost 30 pounds.

Yes I do I went on a low carb diet I lost weight and my A1C dropped
Yes weight loss is very important once you have type 2 diabetes.

When I changed my diet after diagnoses I lost quite a bit of weight, and it helped a lot. A close friend had weight loss surgery, lost half her weight and is now asymptomatic for diabetes. It's basically gone.

@Serenitree I think he would trust me to cut him open more than he'd trust a surgeon. But I wouldn't trust myself either because it's beyond my skill level.

@bijouxbroussard Good to know. Insulin injections are pretty drastic compared to metformin.

@purplepen Yes. I'm trying to avoid that stage at all costs.

now they even have a small operation called barriatic operation wherein a portion of the intestine is cut to reduce intake of food thus cutting weight
