Recheck your anatomy . The carotids are right there , between the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the trachea

They* are right under the skin, easily cut with a razorblade and a modicum of energy.

*well the jugular & Carotid are, I'm sure there are less accessible arteries in the neck as well

@monimathu Wrist bleeding can be very fast if you clip the arteries. You can bleed out before help ever reaches you.
