Do you guys think that I should focus on losing weight or something like that?

I'll make the story short...

My body fat is 25% & visceral fat is 6.
Blood type is A+.

Basically, I went through ups and downs in gaining and losing weight (fat) over the years growing up, self-experimenting with different diet (eating habit) to gain muscle.

A few years ago, I was invited and learned on nutrition, and I followed it.
A healthy diet and basically if I wanted to gain muscle, I should focus on lowering the visceral fat to a very healthy level first.
I didn't gain muscle, but body fat went as low to about 11%.

At one point, I met someone who disagree with that point of view and thinks that having a very low visceral fat is not good because physically look very thin.
I followed her advice and every time I got paranoid because my fat went up to 20%, she told me that it's okay...but I hated my face because I prefer my face when my body fat was less than 15%.

I mean, I am sort of okay with my body right now...but it's just that my face is getting rounder/chubbier and that's the part I didn't like at all.
I still look good in the mirror (from far) but chubby when I get close to the mirror.

I noticed one thing in the past year until now, is that my muscle mass is still about the same, and although I gained weight...it's due to the increase in body fat.

Real healthy food is not cheap, I can't cook, and in restaurants, rice with protein (chicken, fish) is more expensive than rice with vegetables.

What is your height weight? How did you get the fat measured?
Keinaf · 31-35, M
24.9kg
168cm

There was a heart health campaign today at the mall where people pay donation and got to know their cholesterol level, weight, fat level, blood pressure, BMI, and then a short talk with a dietitian there.

About two weeks ago, I got the fat measured at a career fair.
One of the companies there (an insurance company that also focuses on health) had this weighing machine that scans for body weight, body fat and visceral fat.

WTF. You weigh 54lbs? Are you 5 years old?
Keinaf · 31-35, M
No, no, I mean...64.9kg

I didn't notice that mistake (got confused with the BMI)

1. you're too skinny. If you think you look fat at 143lbs, you have body dysmorphia and need to go see a psychiatrist.
2. The machines at health fairs cannot tell you your fat mass. Only and immersion body pod can.
3. You should not be worrying about what anybody else thinks of you. Learn to eat healthy and work out and stop weighing yourself.
4. Your blood type has nothing to do with your diet.
5. Read nutrition articles from reliable medically qualified, peer reviewed sources. Not from quacks, gossip or magazines.
