I just started recommitting to taking Lexapro every night.

And we'll trying to fall asleep I would feel pretty weird, but this time Im having a full-blown panic attack only when I lay down or shut my eyes my body freaks out and I can't handle it. Idk why this is happening it could be related to the antidepressants or it could not.

I take Lexapro, but I was instructed to take it in the mornings. Unless your doctor specifically told you to take it at night, maybe you should take it when you get up instead of when you are going to bed?

@OggggO I wasn't specifically told, I was just told that it could cause drowsiness

@OggggO the doctor didn't seem to care when I took it actually

@Plumouter In my personal experience, it doesn't cause drowsiness, in fact on days when I accidentally took a second dose, I sometimes felt really restless. I was told, however, that it's better to take it in the morning so the levels of it in my system are higher during the day when I need them, and lower at night where it's not as important.
