I don't know what country you are in, but in the U.S. a pill called "Excedrin Migraine" is sold over the counter. It contains aspirin, caffeine, and acetaminophen (Tylenol). I suggest this because caffeine is a vasoconstrictor (narrows the vessels), and migraine headaches are caused by dilation (widening) of the vessels- so caffeine would help to reverse that vasodilation which is causing your symptoms. Caffeine is a component in many migraine relief preparations. In addition to taking some form of caffeine for your current headache, I would also recommend trying 25-50 mg of diphenhydramine (Benadryl, also over the counter) along with whatever else you take. I suffered from severe migraines for many years, used these methods myself, and am a longtime and very seasoned registered nurse with a strong background in Cardiac and Intensive Care. I certainly empathize with you and wish you well. ❤

cayenne pepper in a few different applications. you can use a tea, a nose spray, or salve on your temples. supplementing a chelated form of magnesium regularly can be preemptive. always make sure natural remedies are compatible with your personal health/medication profile.

Cayenne tea tends to work well for me, as does coffee.
Put your hands on each side of your head, around the upper ear region and press really hard for 30 seconds. Then rest for 30 and repeat this several times. That should ease the tension in your head. Also, take a hot and cold shower....cold to stop the pounding headache and then switch to hot to ease your blood vessels. Do this several times until you feel a little better.

Caffeine sometimes helps.

I’ve only ever had luck with sleepingnit off.

If it happens often a doctor can prescribe you imipramine to take when one starts to come on.
