You don't need a diet...they nearly ensure yo-yo gain and loss. Instead, find a healthy and sensible eating plan. Age doesn't help any of us, but any plan that emphasizes lean protein, veggies and cutting simple carbs out is effective. If you want to try meal replacement (not more than twice a day), whey isolate protein is great, as it's low in sugar and carbs and doesn't build muscle mass. You can nearly double the benefits by moving your body regularly. Good luck.
