Have you ever been sectioned?

The police threatened me with it once after I called an ambulance because I was about to commit suicide. Because I had a blade on me the police came and searched me and took away the knife before the ambulance people came. The police told me if I didn't go in the ambulance to hospital voluntarily I would be sectioned and put on a mental ward or arrested for my own protection
