Yes
Depends on the type and how bad it is
Cpap machine is what I’m using
But I do need my tonsils out as they’re the primary reason I gag

I know that losing weight will ease it. I'm not suggesting ur over weight BTW. I just know someone who lost weight and it wasn't as quater as bad afterwards

@Thingschange4444 losing weight eases many things.

also, i'd suggest for her to see a nose/throat specialist to see if there's anything in the esophagus and any lesions or such around the larynx.

that can cause issues also. those can be removed and cure a good portion of the issue, if that's one of the culprits.

oh and cutting out dairy, bread... junk foods... (maybe keep a food diary and log everything that's digested and the results that come from it....)

and proper hydration... sleeping in an angle....

stop using antihistamines... (oh man i gotta stop.. now i stop.)

:D

@sighmeupforthat 😂😂 Well you know far more than me. You ain't a doctor are you?
firefall · 61-69, M
yes, the usual treatment is a CPAP machine, not surgery, as I understand it
Oral appliances or C-Pap. Losing weight also helps. No smoking or sedatives. Humidify your bedroom. Change sleeping positions. See your doctor for further treatment. Surgery is usually a last resort.
