If your blood type is A+, to what types could you donate blood in an emergency?

My 馃惢 has a different blood type but he's ok at the moment.

To A+ And AB+
If you are ever stuck somewhere and can't look up a chart just remember that the A, B and + parts of the blood coding can't be introduced into an environment that is absent of them. That is why all negative blood types can be given to positive blood types, but not the other way around. Also why AB+ can receive anything (it contains all 3) but O- can't receive anything but itself.

@Qwerty14 I was aware of this
I posted the chart for the OP.

Spending my time in an out of the lab having blood work done I got to look at those little charts often.

Also if I鈥檓 ever stuck somewhere and need blood all I need to know is MY blood type before they start a transfusion- but in all likelihood if I do need a transfusion- which I鈥檝e had in the past I鈥檒l probably not be conscious enough to communicate and it being an emergency they鈥檒l most likely pump me full with 0-
@KaysHealingPath I commented for the OP too hence why I didn't put your username in the reply. Just it related to your initial post.

You're right, O- is the safe bet for blood. But if you're in a hospital and they know your name, they'll have your blood type on record. Me personally, I carry a blood donor card which has all that info too

@Qwerty14 I am ineligible to be a blood donor due to a health condition. And not all hospitals will know your name in care of an extreme emergency
