Based on history of allergic reactions, and based on doctors' dismissive behavior and an over-stretched healthcare system, I'm not bothering any of them but I wanted to know what other people usually do with rashes. (No you don't get a peek, and it's not anywhere particularly private.)

Just make sure your throat does not start swelling...

@SW-User Thx - Ive had that before too, and went to ER where they said it was nothing. It improved overnight though.

@SW-User Thx - have you known Benadryl to help with throat swelling too?

@purplepen It usually prevents one from getting the throat swelling. You need to know what caused the reaction and stop that as soon as aware of allergy to it. I wouldn’t want to depend on Benadryl with anaphylaic shock! I’ve had patients complain of mouth and tongue swelling from IV antibiotics... just stopped the antibiotic and gave Benadryl and it took care of all of mine... Same with blood transfusions... Occasionally someone would have a reaction to receiving blood...

@purplepen oh and The doctors always order (2) Benadryl 25mg so the patient receives 50 mg.
