Can you suddenly get a new allergy ?

I have this feeling for the last few weeks I get stomach pain after eating eggs, no matter which way I eat them (not raw of course, all other ways LOL). Now I'm afraid to eat any more eggs. I'm drinking ginger tea now to calm down my tummy pain. It's like the pain of trapped gas.. 😳
