Aye. How much would it cost to get a cavity taken care of without insurance?

If it's a lot I'm just going to ignore it like all my other problems 😎

Depends on the size of the cavity and how many "surfaces" of the tooth are affected by it.

Do not ignore it, because if it gets into the root you are looking at major money OR the possibility of losing the tooth and implants are really expensive.

I have purchased a dental "Discount" plan for my family. It is not insurance but it cuts the "full" cost to about half cost...which is what you would pay as your deductible if you had insurance. I'm happy as the discount plan for the whole family is only 180 a year and it basically does the same thing insurance (2400/yr for 3) does. Not all dentists take it, but the vast majority in my city do take it...even the specialists.
