How to cure sinusitis?

Home remedies might cure it but in the long run a prescription for prednisone helps me. I had it last year and nothing worked except the prescription.

@SW-User But prednisone is a steroid.

It also has a lot of negative side effects. I had six of the 14 side effects. Saline sinus rinse is safer and less pensive with none of the dangerous side effects.

@Serenitree I got the prescription as a last option. I was really sick for months. Home remedies did not help and I am an advocate for home remedies. I am actually doing a home remedy for another ailment that is serious right now. It's working. 👍

@SW-User I'm not knocking the use of medication when the simple stuff fails. I do it. I had pneumonia last spring. All,the home remedies in the world wouldn't clear it up. I had to have antibiotics and a puffer. I suffered badly from the side effects and had to stop as soon as possible.

@Serenitree Yep when it comes down to a last resort, we have medicine but I still prefer and use home remedies first. My mom was a Prevention magazine reader while I was growing up. I read them like the bible!
