Diabetes. Complications from diabetes. ie, kidney failure, water retention, blindness. Not sure about the visions. I get those a lot, even when awake. I tend to think of them as some kind of telepathic signals I'm picking up randomly and I'm seeing what someone else is actually seeing in real time.

@Serenitree you get those visions too? I've never met anyone else who can see what others are seeing.

@PeanutsauntieP1982 Some are very bizarre. And not like dreaming awake. They last only as long as it would take the event to happen, and they are done. In one I saw an old woman packing groceries in a bundle buggy, and at the end there was no room for her bread, so she mashed it into the small space between the groceries and the buggy wire. These don't happen often, but they happen at totally unexpected times and never last more than a few seconds to a minute.

@PeanutsauntieP1982 Does this happen often for you?
@Serenitree I see common place events involving complete strangers, or insects of all kinds, or what I call, 'demon pornography' that involves beautiful female bodies with indescribably macabre faces engaged in intimate acts. Very unsettling.

@puck61 I believe we really do pick up other people thoughts, or see what they are seeing.

My original thought, when I first realized that I wasn't having some kind of seizure activity, was that I could understand how someone might think it was a visitation from an angel or god, or something. It would only take a very religious person, and impressionable.

@Serenitree once or twice a week. They started about ten years ago, and they used to freak me out, but in order to hold on to my sanity, I had to accept them for what they were/are, and move on after they're done. Like you, mine are mundane things, someone putting up their shoes, getting off the bus, putting a book away, doing the dishes, boring for the most part.

@PeanutsauntieP1982 my episodes are less frequent, but just as mundane. I was only bothered by them when I thought they were seizures.

@Serenitree it's funny, but that never crossed my mind. Except for having the connection to someone else for a bit, my brain felt ok. I had no other symptoms to suggest any abnormalities, no double vision, headaches, nothing of that nature. And, from what the people were doing, it just seemed/seems like an odd little jump in my mind.

@PeanutsauntieP1982 Yes, but mine started at a young age, and when I mentioned it, my mom made an appointment with the doctor because she'd heard that certain seizure disorders caused the people to have visions. They did some kind of test, reassured mom I wasn't having seizures and I just stopped mentioning them. But they never stopped.

Only two of my bff's know about my visions, cause a few times, it's been one of them doing something. Most of the time it's strangers.
