i want to spend an hour at the gym

is it better to lift weights for 30 mins with cardio for 30? or should i do one hour of just cardio? im trying to shed some pounds.

I try and fit 3 days of cardio and 3 days of weight lifting in a week. Alternating weights and cardio every other day . I think they’re both equally important.
