Good balance of both works for me...cardio to get the blood pumping then weights. As your body rebuilds after the weights, you keep burning cals and keep your metabolism up longer after the workout.

@touchofgray ya i feel less lumpy when i do weights - when it’s just cardio i still feel lumpy but just smaller lumps lolllll

awesome that you're doing something good for yourself. I do it to try and stay flexible and feel young. Started about two years ago and feel better at 50 than I did at 40.@NiftyWhite

@touchofgray that’s great! how long do you workout and how often? i am a former fitness competitor but i am used to loooong hard workouts and have no idea how to lose weight while exercising in “moderation”. i usually go nuts at the gym everyday all day but i burn out.

I go three times a week for about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Nothing crazy just enough to stay loose.
