I've been scaling back and feeling better for it - my weight is going down like magic and my sleep pattern is better.

i dont drink. my grandfather was an alcoholic and ive known some people who have died while drunk so to a degree i think things would be better without alcohol.

I think we might be physically healthier as a society if it didn't exist. But if it didn't, people who would be addicted to alcohol would just find another drug to take it's place. It happens all the time.
