I've been in the hospital too many times (not for me personally) but mostly due to all the times my dad's almost died for several... multiple different reasons. And the hundreds of emergency surgerys and operations over the years, and him being there for days, weeks, months at a time, that it seems like even when I have family or someone close that is in the hospital.. not that I wouldn't go.. but I avoid it as much as possible because I get so much anxiety being there and I get upset and I can't be in there for long periods of time before I get too overwhelmed.

Does anyone else experience this as well? Or traumatic experiences?
My daughter, who just got out of the hospital two weeks ago as of today, Was in there for 93 days. She's three months old. I went and saw her everyday and it was bullshit. I probably should hate hospitals from being there so much but I don't.
I don’t know if it’s a phobia. But I don’t like them. If I was bleeding I would rather bleed out and die then go to the hospital.

O hate going to hospitals because i had bad memories of it. My mother were confined two times in there, and the third time was in the emergency but she's already lifeless.

Ironically, my job as a caregiver, i need to be in the hospital for my patient's therapy. 🙄. I still hate it. Im having a panic attack just by seeing the building

@SW-User I very much agree, and it's a shame. People work for a paycheck, not for the passion to truly help others. Most doctors will just blindly throw prescriptions at you for the smallest of things or just guess what you should take for certain things, such as depression. And that's where I lost my trust. I won't accept regular doctors to prescribe anything to me, only if they have a profession in that area of health.
It's just a shame.

We've lost my grandparents (at seperate times) at the same hospital due do doctor's fault/absence. So I guess, I do, towards that damned hospital.

Yes to the 2nd question.

@FCNantes giving birth to my daughter was traumatizing for me because of the damn nurses and doctors I had. It went absolutely terrible. And was much harder than it needed to be if they would have just used their brains 😩

My mom does. She hated hospitals, can't wait to get out of them.
