What do you think is the best way to prevent unwanted pregnancies, STD's and other venereal diseases?

Apparently people still are unaware of the advancements made my technology to help with these things. I'd say the best way to prevent unwanted pregnancies and STD's number one is to decrease the amount of partners you have down to one. Then use a combination of birth control along with condoms and always make it a priority to have good hygiene.

People need to learn to control their urges, stop being promiscuous and to respect each other. That would go a long way. And the culture and media need to stop promoting it. There are new strains of VDs that have no cure.

@cherokeepatti The new strains of HIV are resistant to medication.

@flawedbeauty and yet people think it's fun to play around tempting fate

@SakuraShimeji Some people know they aren't fit to be parents and still reproduce, I am personally against abortion but I can only encourage and educate. The choice is theirs.

I have a belief in the afterlife and I don't believe I'd want to have to be punished for murdering anyone. If you don't believe in afterlife then .... Uh, well let's hope you are right because if you are wrong... Then by the time you find out for sure, its too late to change anything.

Common sense which most people lack nowadays.
"Oh I met he/her in the club 30 minutes before sex. He/she looks clean so I'm sure it's all good."😒
@ravenwind43 you are very correct on that. So very correct.
flawedbeauty · 31-35, F
@ravenwind43 Its very common here especially in the impoverished communities that's why we have to keep singing the same tune over and over until they get it.
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
@flawedbeauty I can understand that.

Good hygiene sadly and just one partner won't prevent an STD. Condoms and making sure your partner has good sexual health would be better options

Being ugly helps

@Kitakat00 Yeah, this is a very effective deterrent.

You are absolutely correct but there is an even better way... it's called abstinence and self control. And yes i am considered a deplorable for having such an archaic idea.. but I'm happy...😁

Higher standards.
@shaelan lots of rich people with high standards died of aids

@IndianaJoes Alright.
Also know that viruses are so small that it takes a very powerful microscope to see them. They can pass right into the skin pores with no problem at all. You can see the skin pores without a microscope. Sorry to burst your bubbles but that's how it is.

@dunpender that works too or if the asprin keeps falling out then using zip ties around both knees solves the problem.

Not having sex outside of marriage,and only with my Husband inside marriage,has helped me with most of those things,except pregnancy,but that was wanted.☺
I think there is only 2 ways and you have to use both at the same time. Only one partner so you aren't mixing all the different species of fluids from who knows where and a condom that prevent the actuall touching of each others skin. Our skin is porous and will allow fluids to soak into our blood stream. So if you think washing it off right after sex... Its too late. You are only kidding yourself.

@IndianaJoes I love this dialogue

Absitinence is by far the most effective. I cant personally recomend it though
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M

flawedbeauty · 31-35, F
