Have you and your mental health professional reached your goal?

The point where they say we can continue your sessions but you now have all the tools necessary to live a productive life. I get the feeling that a lot of them don't ever tell patients that.

I can only answer in my opinion but the mental health business is more about money than coping. I think it's rare that a professional ever says that. There's good mental health professionals and bad. Mental health field is interesting but it's only as good as the people (like with everything else.) It's also an ever growing field and while I'm sure some good people out there continually advance their knowledge, I'm doubtful that many do. That field is where you have to consistently advance with new findings because we're still finding out about the human brain.
