Can anyone share more legit reasons why those men who hit women are mentally ill?

Not all men are ill.. I have seen woman who hit man who were mentally ill... But if suppose in a situation like where a woman is sleeping around with other men inspite being married , won't that be a reason?

@SW-User limit it only to those men who hit women...even if she doesn't have another man..he just hit even in a simple argument

@SW-User I believe so I knew one...he hits his first wife telling that she's been too much a nagger and an overspender and that wife never went home again but only to visit kids. The husband continues to ruin her reputation..

He has found another one but still hits his new partner even the woman is quietsome
