Ever stopped being friends with someone because of their addiction?

If you had a history of an addiction and your friend refused to get help for there’s. They malipulate and lie to you. They try to get you back into your addiction, but you refuse. You tell them to get help, and end your friendship with them. Because being friends with them, is hurting your recovery.

Once uve been addicted ANY former addict/friend u once knew has to be kept out of ur life. Well until they kick thier habit anyway. Addiction is selfish and it cares for no one. Recovery has to be selfish to a large extent to succeed

@SW-User very true. Although she made it quite easy for me, when she lied about me. I don’t like being lied to.

Recovery is about one person. You can't save the world till you save yourself.

Please secure your own oxygen mask before attempting to assist others.
