Nope, it hits a lot of people as soon as the combines start picking the crops too. Lots of dust from lots of combines all at the same time. We all have to eat too. Sux.

If you can keep the windows and doors in the house and car shut till combines are done then it can help. Also if the heater controls on your car has a recirculate button this will keep air from being drawn in from the outside. And just in case you wondered. Its the vent at the bottom of the windshield underneath the wiper arms is where the outside air comes in when its not in recirculate mode on all models of cars.

Sometimes stupid little bits of info like this can really help people like me with allergies.

Some more interesting facts about people who have dust allergies and it includes me is that a lot of us actually breathe better when the humidity is high as opposed to when it is dry. Moisture acts like a dust magnet and will draw the dust down to the ground. If you don't believe me then ask any one who works in an auto body shop. An auto body painter will deliberately hose the floor down with water in a paint booth to remove any dust before he Paints the car. You do not want dust in a paint job. I also have fewer nosebleeds when the moisture is high. Nosebleeds are usually dry nostrils cracking and exposing the tiny capillary veins which leak blood out like a dryrotted rubber hose.

is this a question or?
