You can always leave and who knows maybe you do have problems that you can stop while they didn't develop fully, maybe you will confirm you are okay.

@fluteacorn how old are you? If you are 18+ she doesn't have to know. Your helath is more important than your mom's irrational understanding of psychiatrists. What if you do struggle with something? Better not waste time and go fix it, right?

@fluteacorn Talk therapy and meds. Talk through what has hurt you in the past. And take the meds to help with the depression.

@fluteacorn TALK to your doctor ! That's what they do ! They listen to things you say; ask questions and that helps them get a better understanding of what your troubles are and how best to help !
