@SW-User School lunches are loaded with sugar, teachers put candy and gum in a "Treasure Box" with some other kinds of favors such as stickers or erasers, they bribe them with cookies or candy if they do well on a project, they allow other students to bring in cookies or cupcakes for birthdays...then there's the office parties, candy jars filled with sweets, free suckers for children at drive in banks, etc. It's everywhere and considered an innocent treat.
