@toddr13 an ingredient in so many so called healthy processed foods, it adds up throughout the day and the day's sugar adds up by the year...."That Sugar Film" is very good at exposing this and the medical results by the man who did an experiment eating those health-promoted foods over a course of a few months.

@SW-User School lunches are loaded with sugar, teachers put candy and gum in a "Treasure Box" with some other kinds of favors such as stickers or erasers, they bribe them with cookies or candy if they do well on a project, they allow other students to bring in cookies or cupcakes for birthdays...then there's the office parties, candy jars filled with sweets, free suckers for children at drive in banks, etc. It's everywhere and considered an innocent treat.

@iamnikki It increases your hunger hormone, ghrelin. Which is why people binge-eat sweets.

@cherokeepatti i can believe that. I have to use reverse psychology on myself because of it. I usually buy the packs of my favorite candy,but when i do, i usually eat the whole bag. So i instead grab one bar 😥

@Deadcutie Increased an entire generation's taste for sugar too...most brands of spaghetti sauce became so sweet I couldn't stand the flavor and would make my own or do without if I didn't have time. Bread is too sweet too.

@cherokeepatti everything has sugar nowadays... I also believe things like corn syrup and high over processed foods with chemical ingredients account for the high increase of cancers

@Deadcutie I have read that sugar cane, corn, and sugar beets all have been genetically modified to accept a good dousing of Round-up spray on them, plant them closer together for bigger yields because they can use that spray to kill the weeds. No wonder there's more cancer. And they get sweetener from all 3 of those.
