I find humor and laughter are ways of coping with difficult things/situations. That's not to say you should burst out laughing at a funeral (not unless someone falls in the grave). I find humor is a way to cope. I think it can be a healthy way of managing stress and dealing with difficult situations. There are other ways of dealing with stress but they are likely innappropriate at this time..
