There were no Safety systems in place in the 60's . It scares me to see these two ladies

no child carriers either

yes no seatbelts in cars, no helmet for motorbikes

I think they made the right choice for most SW users actually. A walk up a steep incline like that would be a guaranteed death sentence for most of us who just sit at a keyboard all day.
