European men do not get circumsized
CallMeTex · 46-50, M
@revenant I have read that between 70% to 80% of the males in the world are natural & intact (not circumcised).
Jews and Muslims circumcise their males for religious reasons. The USA circumcises newborn males for non-religious, non-medically necessary reasons. They do it for cosmetic reasons because people think it looks better. They also do it for profit. Routinely circumcising infant males in the USA is a multi-billion dollar per year business.
The problem is the infant boy has no choice about what is being done to his body / penis. I believe in “Her body her choice”. What about “His body his choice”? Shouldn’t boys have the same rights and protections to body integrity as girls?

@revenant Just so you know, my Mom is Jewish and feels the same way you do. My Dad, who is deceased, was an Irish born Roman Catholic and was intact (not circumcised) like most European men.
When I was born Mom had a Brit Shalom which is baby naming & welcoming ceremony without a traditional circumcision. A Brit Milah is a baby naming & welcoming ceremony with a traditional circumcision ceremony.

@revenant I understand. Some men have problems later on in life especially if they are diabetic or if care givers forcibly retracted their foreskins when they were babies. This can do irreparable damage and cause problems for males when they are older.
Care givers and parents should never force a baby boy’s or boy’s foreskin back. Only the owner of the penis should retract his foreskin. Treat a boys foreskin like a baby girls clitoral hood. Leave it alone and only wash what is seen.😊
