Mobility Scooters

Not for the first time earlier today, an elderly mobility scooter user almost ran into me. This time, he was reversing in his scooter. I had to call out to get him to brake. Can I ask anyone who uses mobility scooters to be mindful of others who are around them. Some scooters have a reversing beep. Thanks. :)

I saw an older gentleman in the park with a mobility scooter playing AC/DC as loud as he could.
Generation X is going to be way different old people then the old people I remember. 😄

You are correct people need to watch out when they're operating anything mobile.

Happened to me recently in a shopping centre in Sweden. Someone was “driving” one fast and ploughed straight into me. They were outraged when I shouted at them.

Some years ago there was a documentary about these devices on TV in the UK. I wonder if its on YouTube? Was shocking.

I'll say this and risk someone being angry. Most people I see on those things think that everyone must be aware of them. Stay out of their way. I will add that sometimes people who do not need them ride them.
