AND THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES. The tow truck came early, before my son was home to drive the key to the driver, so I ended up walking my van key back down the highway to him. Tired, out of breath, but made it. Not too bad. But then, in order to get a ride back to the house, I had to climb what was pretty much a ladder to get into the truck's passenger seat-- it looked like the size of a semi. Almost fell on my first try, twisted my right knee, but the driver helped get me up and in on the second try. Then, when he stopped at the corner to drop me off, getting down from that height I slipped and twisted the left knee a bit. For a minute I was afraid I wouldn't be able to walk back to the house, but it felt better after maybe 15-20 seconds of rest and I made it back inside. I'd lay down, but I figure I want to answer the phone if the garage calls to ask what's wrong with the van. :(
