I lost 70 lbs and I don’t feel any better

People said I would have more energy, sleep better, feel happier, bike better, and have more concentration. None of that happened. I am close to ideal weight now but feel the same as I did 3 years ago when I was obese. I know I’m healthier. No more sleep apnea or pre-diabetes. But do I feel it? No. I am just as tired and just as dazed. The only possible exception is that it’s easier to ride my bike uphill. Maybe it’s because it happened slowly. Maybe it’s because those effects are overrated.

You can jump over a fence now, you can swim fast, you can run fast, and I'm sure you look much much more attractive now that you are no longer a fattie. 👍🏼
🌷 <== flower for your success!

@helenS I know you are trying to help, but the problem is you are assuming things I can do. I can’t run, for other reasons. I was already a strong swimmer, but ain’t no mad bull here for me to run away from and jump over the fence. Having said that, I do think you are right when it comes to specific recreational acts, and that is not irrelevant. But I just wish it was a day to day, not being as tired and feeling better all around thing.

@Cyclist Yes it's true I tried you cheer you up, and make you feel good about it.
@Cyclist I am not a doctor or a psychologist, but what you are describing sounds like depression. Maybe talk to a doctor?
