Pray for me I use a CPAP. And then some.

I hate my cpap. I can't keep it on the whole night. At aprox 1 or 2am I take it off and go back to sleep. Sometimes I wake up again around 4am and put it back on. But usually not. The VA has me going to all these sleep doctors and psych doctors and cpap doctors, the multitude of which gives me conflicting information. According to my primary care doctor, I should eat my green vegetables. According to my renal doctor, green vegetables cause kidney stones. Mental health therapist says I should get out more and do fun stuff. Neurologist says don't do anything too crazy otherwise I have a seizure. And don't even get me on the side effects of my seizure meds. Working a fulltime job and managing my healthcare is impossible. Too bad I can't hire somebody to manage my healthcare for me.

Anyway, I hate my cpap.

I've had a CPAP for a few months and it took some getting used to. I am not saying that the things that helped me would help you, but I turned off the "ramp" which had always made me feel starved for air at the beginning. And on my own, I found out about a feature called pressure relief that I could adjust only with the permission of the doctor and the supplier. Between eliminating the ramp and turning on the pressure relief, I'm a lot more comfortable now.

I sympathize with all your healthcare management combined with your job. I'm retired now but sometimes the personal healthcare management does feel like a full-time job.
Have you tried different masks for the CPAP?
