What is the weirdest thing your doctor has ever said to you?

After a locum I hadn't seen before did a lung function test, I was asked how long I had been smoking for.
When I said I had never smoked, he said "if you can't tell the truth, I can't help you"
I was so shocked I couldn't reply.
