5 Months post surgery

Physical therapy going well, gaining strength but still pain after a session. took a chance yesterday and drove my car on city streets for the first time since my fall. gas pedal with my right foot and used cruise control once I got it up to speed. learning to use my left foot for braking. don't tell my doctor or physical therapist cuz I'm still not supposed to be behind the wheel but my goal is to be at the mall for Christmas shopping. have to start getting ready as time is getting short. If you have an accident it will take much more tha Alan or his friends to help you... They will take your license away and possibly jail you as you are driving against medical orders... Im sure Alan will be way less than happy

@braveheart21 just seeing what I can handle, not going to make driving an eeryday thing. it's frustrating not being out and about

@saragoodtimes maybe so but the law will not see it that way neither will Alan or your conscience... Especially if you hit a kid because you are not in FULL CONTROL of the vehicle

@saragoodtimes have to do what the medical staff tell u... Alan would br be real pissed if you messed up... His colleagues would not be happy that his wife didn't take medical instruction

@saragoodtimes then Sara will have to damn well wait until she is fit enough to be safe doing whatever she wants to do and not risk killing some other poor person in the mean time...
