I cut out snacks this week and I was able to shed the 3kg/7.5 lbs I had gained.

I was eating far too much sugar in the form of sweets, chocolate and chips. This week I switched to fruit, yogurt and homemade popcorn. I was able to satisfy the sugar cravings by choosing nature's candy instead. The popcorn is not only less calories, it's not processed to all hell or dyed. I felt I had lost a sense of self control and I feel it coming back. Fridays and Saturdays are off days though. Mamma wanna let loose, food loose😎😂. Maintaining my weight is a daily battle. I've been maintaining my weight-loss of over 120lbs for almost 5 years now. I've had my fluctuations but I've never allowed myself to return to my old lifestyle. You couldn't pay me to gain it all back.

I keep myself from letting myself go by weighing myself multiple times a week. It's a way to stay accountable and avoid becoming delusional about weight gain. I've been there before and It only leads to buying larger and larger clothes.

Maintaining a 120lbs weight loss for 5 years is amazing. I always feel like eating something sweet after a meal, and always have fruit. It really is just as satisfying as sweets, most days. 🍓
