Was I a smart kid? Nope
A classmate was trying to tell us that you can pass out if you put enough pressure on someone's chest (Asphyxiation) and breathe very deeply (Hyperventilation). I didn't believe it, but I quickly became a believer. I told him to try it on me. I stood up straight against the wall outside, and after probably 12-15 seconds, my head slumped down. I remember counting to about 10 seconds and then nothing. I recall the sound of wind or something similar in my head. I didn't feel the impact. Both of my lips needed a good number of stitches, but I didn't break anything. Nobody else thought it would work either, and even my brother thought I was faking it. So, when my head dropped down, they couldn't make out my face to gauge whether I was faking or not. Luckily, I didn't fall completely face-first, cause it was more of a frontal slump. Anybody else, or am I the stupidest kid in the world? My father and doctor let me have it when I went to the hospital. Never mind, don't answer that. 🤕
Does anybody else have any accidents from being ignorant and not having a lick of common sense?
