For anyone that may be struggling with some contraceptives?

Your birth control may fail if you have this genetic variant, research suggests | CNN https://share.google/GfKvZY7AbnXZXMgf2

I'm currently under investigation at my hospital for similar issues.
It's interesting.

Trying to find a method that works for you can be a big problem for some people in particular. At the other end of the scale people can find getting pregnant harder than they expect aswell. 🤔

@carolinehugz I have tried pretty much every contraceptive pill or insert.
I have had infections, uncontrollable bleeding, weight gain, excessive sweating, over the scale anxiety, severe acne, increased hair growth and pregnancies that failed.
I was diagnosed with pcos, I suffer from anemia and these were supposed to help with managing them and obviously prevent pregnancy abd any potential std, but instead I faired better when I came off them and just used condoms.
I stopped using contraceptive measures when I was 28 and fell pregnant by choice at 33.
I think if I had of tried earlier on I probably would have been unsuccessful.
Now when I do have a period I use tranzamic acid... Lightens and shortens the duration.
Has helped my acne massively too.
That's good information.
