I take blood pressure medicine it's really not that bad if you end up having to take it. It will help your heart if you have a true blood pressure issue. With that being said anxiety can raise your blood pressure so if you are feeling anxious every time you take it, you may find with the continuous monitor that it's just because of anxiety and not because it's actually high.

You don't want high anxiety when you're getting blood pressure checked, it can make it go much higher. Try deep, slow breaths to calm yourself, that does help.
