Arthritis pain

Has anyone had a severe arthritis flare up come out of nowhere? Two months ago I woke up and couldn’t walk. I’ve been to the doctor, had cortisone shots, physical therapy and some prescription meds that didn’t do anything. It wasn’t a narcotic. I asked for something stronger and was told no. Is this my new “normal”? Any tips or suggestions would be most appreciated. I’m 69.

I take Glucosamine/Chondroitin for my arthritis. There are several brands. Ostio-Biflex did not work for me but Move-Free and several generic types work wonders. The secret (and stated on most directions) is that it could take up to 4-6 weeks to notice improvement. It is not pain management. It actually repairs and lubricates joints. Many people give up after a short period of time. Try it. Give it time. I started taking it years ago. I no longer suffer arthritis pain.
