Arthritis pain

Has anyone had a severe arthritis flare up come out of nowhere? Two months ago I woke up and couldn’t walk. I’ve been to the doctor, had cortisone shots, physical therapy and some prescription meds that didn’t do anything. It wasn’t a narcotic. I asked for something stronger and was told no. Is this my new “normal”? Any tips or suggestions would be most appreciated. I’m 69.

I have arthritis and have had several broken bones because of it. I have flare ups. I use heat. Sometimes it helps and other times it doesn’t.

@tobynshorty that’s what I’m afraid of, falling bc my knees buckle. I’m so sorry to hear you have gone through that.
