Cut My Eyelashes Again Or Use Preservative Free Eyedrops?
It's been a week and a half since I used and disposed of expired preservative based eyedrops (Systane Ultra), but it seems that my right eye still gets randomly blurry sometimes and the eyelashes for both eyes exacberate it. I noticed before and in recent days that when my eyelashes get long enough, they can refract the light in a way that can trick my brain into thinking my eyes are blurred so then I see blurry vision. Lifting my eyelashes either with my fingers or by widening my eyelids seems to almost always resolve such blurriness, and I know from months past that cutting them did help (albeit I cut them too short).
I know my right eye probably has inflammation that's severe enough that it can't be properly treated with natural remedies alone, so might have to resort to using eyedrops...the preservative free kind. I don't want to suffer from side effects and also want to use them as much as I want to, which only preservative free eyedrops can provide at a steeper price and shorter lifespan. Well I can probably eventually get my right eye to fully recover on its own, but that'd require me to live as a hermit to not expose it to artificial lighting from electronic screens and flourescent lights. Although since my eye problems are chronic, as soon as I re-enter civilization, my eyes would dry up again.
Do note that I have glasses that have blue light and UV filters, but because they're intended to view stuff from farther distances, they're not useful for viewing up close. I have used them to view electronic devices that way, and it just makes me notice certain artifacts that I otherwise don't really see without them. Basically in dark mode, lighter text, icons, and other UI elements will have a glow around them, regardless if the panel is LED IPS or Super AMOLED. Furthermore, for light mode darker elements will have a sort of RGB outline around them; very subtle that I easily notice when wearing glasses (flagship displays don't have this, but entry level to midrange do).
