I didn't have an infection, it was just the blood clots making it look reddish

If your leg is seeping (looks like you have water on the skin), you need to go to the ER now. Could be a blood clot, could be cellulitis, could be an infection going septic. Too many things for anyone to diagnose without seeing it. But, it isn't something you should put off until tomorrow. Besides, if what's going on is bad enough, at your appointment tomorrow, they may send you directly to the ER anyway.

@SomeMichGuy I'm going tom, its not doing anything right now anyways, so I'm going then, I'm on blood thinners anyways right now

@SomeMichGuy not yet, going tom, that lump is getting smaller and is going away on its own now,
@pearllederman--you don't know what is going on inside there. You might be putting yourself at risk.

A PCP won't have the diagnostic equipment in his/her office to do the imaging, etc. You are wasting more time.

Had you done when you first observed it, you'd know by now what is going on; I'm sure triage would have helped you.

As it is, I am very concerned that you are not aware of what this might be, and that a sudden appearance of something is almost never a good thing.

You should go today. A blood clot can move and find its way to your heart. Do not Rub that lump!

if that clot breaks loose it could cause a stroke or heart ussue/attack
