I am a Homebody

I am a 47 yr old and I enjoy staying inside and watching movies. I work out during the week as well. My older sister gets upset because I don't go out and drink and gamble with her.(She's an alcoholic) She knows that I will go out with her when I want but I told her that I've already done everything she's doing when I was in my 20s. She got married young & had 4 kids and now she wants to hit the streets but I don't. It's really annoying.

I'm sorry that she has issues; I think you remind her of them, and she can't just enjoy her inebriation and monetary foolishness without your approving participation.

So you apparently have gotten under her skin/in her head in a way which gets to her. I hope it helps her to see how she's wasting her life.
