My son has been to several specialists and just had a lot of blood work done...

Everything points to him having an infection but there are no symptoms...

Docs are like yeah okay whatever...

I took him to his primary and they seemed irritated, the receptionist laughed at me for bringing him in. I had to snap a little bit to have him seen. She was going to send me away.

Am I missing something?

Is there a reason nobody is willing to figure out what's going on? He's fighting something obviously, it's shown up in every test and his white blood cells are elevated...

I am getting really pissed actually. What if it's something serious? Nobody cares?

I’ve always had to fight with doctors to get what I want. There was only one that visibly like really wanted to figure out the same things that were confusing me and going on instead of just blame anxiety. He was English. Called me on his weekend to give me results. Baffling.

Hope he turns out to be just fine and it’s something tiny 🧡
@Notsimilarreally it's crazy how a doc doing the right thing is baffling. And so what if a parent has anxiety? That's our job, to help our children and pay attention to their needs. I don't get humans.

I hope so too. It's just scary when some of these results indicate serious underlying illness.
