Day 1 at home

a bit of a restless night but nice to be home although my surgeon and the rehab hospital are pissed. appointment with my GP today to see if we can get PT started. Alan called a nursing agency and will be getting a home health aide daily and a nurse to check in every few days starting Monday. Katie did learn a little cooking from me and made rigatoni with Rao's sauce and a nicely prepared salad last night. she needs a little coaching on vinegar to oil ratio but otherwise did fine. it may take some time but will make being home work in the long run. doing the exercises I learned in the hospital. sent Dan to buy a leg exerciser and tried it at the slowest speed.

Awesome. I did my exercises multible times a day and walked with a walker.
The rehab facility had their chance and blew it. Too bad for them. You are on the road to recovery with out morning joe.
Hoping this gives you a more settled feeling and the home versions of your rehab go well!

@braveheart21 Im surprised they did not have her walking with a walker in the hospital. I was told I had to walk, then i could leave. I fell on vacation. So they sent me home after 2 days. I then got with my doctor and he set me up with PT with Bunny.
I went back to PT 5 years later to work on my knees and ankles that got messed up when i fell.

How could anyone possibly heal up while being forced to endure Morning Joe? Ugh!
You be careful! 😉

How awesome! There is absolutely no place like home. Hopefully she will learn to be as good of a cook as you. Your dishes always sound delicious 😋
