I cut my upper eyelashes in an attempt to speed up healing from pink eye

But besides making my vision more clear when my eyes aren't blurring nor watering, my eyes overall have gotten more photophobic and irritated. At least I no longer get blurring from light refracting from my eyelashes because I cut them so short. I'm gonna consider seeking medical attention, as it's been 3.5 weeks and my symptoms still linger and my right eye seems to be red again. Unfortunately I don't qualify for taxpayer funded eyecare in Canada (not a minor nor a senior), and I don't have health insurance so best I can do is visit a hospital.

@uikakarotuevegeta Thank you. You need antibiotic eye drops.
@MsSwan I'd need a prescription for that; don't know if the hospital staff are qualified. I don't have a family doctor anymore because my former one retired, and I don't have health insurance. I know it's odd given that healthcare is covered by taxpayers in Canada, but eyecare isn't unless you're a minor or senior. I can afford paying out of pocket maybe a few times, but anymore and I'll be broke.
@uikakarotuevegeta You may only need 1 little bottle. It lasts because you only use a couple of drops each time.
@MsSwan yeah I bought Visine Original Red Eye a few weeks back and it's only 15ml, but I only used like ⅓ of it despite only applying it to my eyes for 1 week straight before. I might consider using those again, but only if a doctor tells me it's safe to do so; otherwise, I'll only use it in the future if my eyes get red just in general instead of by pink eye.
