A Health awareness thread for SW members.

The idea is everyone will be in constant touch with each other everyday regarding each other's mental as well as physical health and it would be a constant running thread where different people could share about their regular mental as well as physical Health Status and What they need to do further with other advices, what their doctors say about this particular situation and updates from everybody who can contribute with their knowledge.

Idea is to promote Health and wellbeing of everybody as a family on SW. You have some physical/psychological problems? Share here and people will advice as best as practical as they could.

But In no circumstances, it's an alternate to Doctors. It is rather to keep everybody in constant touch with each other and to feel motivated and not left alone in this journey of life.

@LadyGrace Fish is all the good cholesterol. Excellent choice.
THIS...is an EXCELLENT idea!!! 👍🙏

You know me.... I love to study holistic medicine and natural remedies, for 50 years now. No I'm not an expert, but what I have studied, I'd have helped quite a few people... even saving a parakeet that had a huge tumor on the back of its neck.

While holistic medicine and natural remedy medicine share some overlap, they are not the same.

Holistic Medicine aims to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms, by considering the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit.

Holistic practitioners may use a variety of therapies, including conventional medical treatments, alternative therapies, and natural remedies, to achieve balanced patient care.

Examples: Holistic approaches can include lifestyle changes, dietary modifications, stress management techniques, and therapies like acupuncture, massage, or chiropractic care.

Holistic medicine is a philosophy of medicine used by physicians who have completed conventional medical training but also believe in treating the whole person—body, spirit, mind, and emotions—to restore and maintain health .

Natural remedy medicine emphasizes the use of remedies derived from nature, such as herbal medicine, aromatherapy, and dietary and lifestyle changes.

Practitioners of natural remedy medicine often focus on using natural substances to support the body's natural healing abilities.

Natural remedies can include herbal supplements, essential oils, and dietary changes.

Naturopathy, which you might hear called natural medicine, is a type of holistic medicine .

I have saved myself from operations as well. I love to share them, but of course, I always advise people to contact their doctors, before they try anything. At the same time, most doctors only have four semester hours in college for natural medicine and they're not that knowledgeable. They will often slough it off natural medicine telling the patient it doesn't work. It depends on one's condition but I have always found homeopathic and natural medicine to work for me in every case. Even dissolving my blood clots in 2 weeks, versus 3 months.

GOOD JOB, DANIEL!!!

I think this is a cool idea.

I guess I’ll start. I’m doing pretty okay today, mentally a bit meh but that’s kinda my default these days. Physically I’m still getting over a cough I’ve had for the last couple weeks (most likely bronchitis, seems to be clearing up on its own so no need for antibiotics I think).

Did I do it right? Lol
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
@Zeuro Yes, absolutely, that was perfect. Even I had cough. Maybe it's a seasonal change. Garlic in tea helps when you don't want antibiotics to take over.
@Zeuro You did it perfectly!

I'm not saying this is the problem, but I do know that many across the country are getting this lingering cough and congestion in the chest and me and my daughter are one. I bought a new product that I have not tried yet but plan on it because my throat has never been the same since I got that cough and I noticed that many people are complaining of lung problems since they got Covid. Even my sister.

For myself, I'm going to try this Mullen Leaf liquid drops extract. It's for long detox and cleanse, respiratory health and immune support. It's important to keep our lungs clear and I have read where that covid has caused so many people to have continued lung problems even after it has supposedly passed. Others may not believe that, but I do. To each their own. I think you're right to be concerned after 2 weeks cuz this does linger and my daughter has had it even longer so I gave her some of my own lung tincture and it's helping her.

@LadyGrace my lungs were not affected by COVID, my only symptom when I got it was losing my sense of smell (which, side note, is only partially restored now, almost 5 years later. I’m at like 40% my original ability to smell) but I think my lungs are permanently a little fucked up from years of on and off bronchitis. I would always get it every single time I got a cold, and I once had it for 2 months straight, which my doctor told me can cause permanent lung damage. Now whenever I cough, even if I’m not sick, I sound like a barking dog 🐕

Good idea! I have a prostate biopsy on Wednesday. I'm not to worried as my MRI results were good.
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
@Thrust That's very good. And I pray you will have desired results in biopsy too.
