I looked through my friend list on fb yesterday

Its not a very long list, but I noticed that every single person on it means a lot to me and I genuinely love them.

I want to live my life like that, surrounded by genuine connections. Im doing a pretty good job so far, I think. ❤

Mine is fairly short too, but I don't particularly like them all. We had a school reunion a few years ago and I ended up with a bunch of FB "friends" who I'd had no contact with for 35 years.

@Lugwho i did a cull when I started using it again a year ago. Im happy I did. I feel like I can be myself there now.

@Kuronekko I don't really use it that much to be honest. It's always a useful reminder to ignore any nostalgic sentiment and not move back to where I grew up. The people who never moved away aren't a great advert.
