Do any of you take prescription medications?

It seems like, by executive order, the price caps on prescription medications have been rescinded. How does this benefit anyone but the pharmaceutical companies? I'm open to having someone explain this to me.

I take Ozempic and Metformin for my blood sugar.
@Musicman Ozempic of course is a Danish product, so will in addition be hit by Trump’s “I want Greenland” tariffs on Denmark (well actually on the EU since Denmark is in the customs union).

@Musicman is is completely covered by insurance?
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP
@Sevendays Not completely. I have to pay $25 a month. My insurance picks up the rest.

@Musicman lucky you. I just paid $450 for a 30 day supply of Jardiance.

@Sevendays That is terrible! 😢 They wanted to put my wife on Wachovia. The monthly cost for that was going to be $1600. Medicare doesn't cover it.

@Musicman I was thinking she must have prescribed medication.
